Bio
I am a Composer, Sound Artist, and Sound Designer based in London, UK. I have been creating experimental music since 2020 and have been releasing music under the moniker 'deaftapes' since 2021. Alongside this, I have an interest in composing sound for screen, fully rescoring classic avant-garde short films 'The Alphabet' by David Lynch, and '10/65: Self Mutilation' by Kurt Kren, the latter being exhibited at Gallery 46 in Whitechapel. These can be found on the showreel on the homepage of this website.

I also experiment with creating practical instruments. I have created two instruments from old tool and cigar boxes, customised with a piezo microphone inside, with objects such as a metal spring, steel ruler, door stop and a fidget spinner attached to them. The aim of these boxes is to create a multi-purpose instrument that can be used for Foley, sound design, and live performance. I used both boxes in my perfomance at Corsica Studios, creating a dark and anxiety-inducing set of drones.

I am also a frequent collaborator with other artists, being part of two bands. Grawlix, an abstract project with fellow sound artist Rysia Kaczmar, boasts a heavy, industrial sound, demolishing sound systems across London. I also perform in London and Brighton in Irreversible, an ambient/drone duo with Alex Lemonidis of Divorce Attorney.
